此曲,此唱,非常之经典,ROD是成名的大牌,歌又是老歌,全场观众都能唱,几万人来做他们俩的歌队。
虽然说,歌曲所讲述的是深沉而感伤的故事,但是两位歌星的声线处理圆润而流畅。尤其是AMY,进入她的唱段之前与之后,都是自信而温柔的浅笑,给人以经历风雨,度过沧桑,而越发坚韧,更知道去体验与感知生命的绚丽,这样的一种印象。
这是一首给成年人的歌曲,有时欲言又止,有时意在言外,是需要有了阅历,才能够理解。那种懂得,而且明了,但是仍然无可逃避的境地,更是青涩少年所不能察觉的。心的镜像,虽然明白如画,对于彼此却是全无意义,不可知,无可解。
在三分零四秒嵌入的萨克斯管独奏,是此唱的又一个加分因素,充分的展现了萨克斯管所擅长的表达倾诉之情的本领。
ROD则有点淘气,一会儿在那儿揪领带,一会儿蹬腿,过一会儿又乱改词,唱道”She’s so hot — cryingforever …crying foreverrrr”。特别是仰头唱到第二个cryingforever的时候，那个表情简直是在说「妳伤心可不关我事喔」。
曲终,两位歌星礼节性的拥抱了一下,看起来更象是彼此pat on theback,此曲的演唱的成功与超越寻常水准,他们当时显然是意识到了.而AMY脸上的浅浅的笑,又完全的绽放开来,爽朗而大气的表现出对于歌曲本身凄迷而婉约的意境的超越.

晚间在满天的繁星之下漫步,从IPOD里听着此曲,在深蓝的天空与漆黑的夜色包裹之下,更体会到歌者的演绎之出色.这样疏缓而厚重的述说,在近年的乐界已是绝迹.
由AMY的惊艳演唱,第一感是此歌星是不输于ROD的大牌.而"我"没有听说过她,只是因为本人孤陋寡闻而已.然而仔细推究,却是吃了一惊:在此音乐会以前,AMY是在苏格兰城市格拉斯哥(Glasgow)的街头卖唱为生的.某一天ROD跟朋友们在街上听到AMY的歌声,大为惊异其天份,邀请她一起唱这首经典老歌,遂有此曲.
之后,AMY在ROD团队的帮助下,几度前往LA,但是终于没能在职业歌星的行当扎根,据说又重归街头演唱.
另一个有趣的八卦,就是ROD本人也是在街头卖唱被发现的--In January 1964, Rod Stewart wasapparently "discovered" by singer Long John Baldry at TwickenhamRailway Station. Rod was drunk and playing his harmonica, itseems.
